Prada

(Tracy: Helmut Lang trousers, T by Alexander Wang tank, Elizabeth and James blazer, Prada faux fur stole, YSL heels. Binx: Velvet tee, Mike and Chris vest, Denimood jeans, Prada wedges)

On a recent day trip to Milan, we found ourselves at mecca: the Prada accessory store on Via Senato. As the brand originated in Milan, the shop was filled with tons of exclusive items, custom orders, and pieces straight off the runway. Heaven. The Spring Summer collection was all about color blocking, stripes and platforms, so we both deemed it appropriate that we each walk away with a purchase that embodied the trends of the season. Tracy had been drooling over this stole since she saw it on the runway and was shocked to learn that it was available in faux (cruelty free and wallet friendly. Double points) As amazing as the stole is, its not an easy piece to transition from runway to real way. Solution? Pairing it down with trousers and a blazer, letting the stole shine and avoid looking like a crazy person. Binx's wedges are undeniably awesome. The delicate lace up detail is just the perfect touch to an otherwise chunky shoe. Binx has had her eye on this collection for months and decided on this pair because of their versatility. Paired with super skinnies and a leather vest she is the epitome of cool.

au revoir!
